Sorry, this event is not available.
Event postponed due to shelter in place order.
Evenings in late December are lit with the return of Fairy Winterland at Children’s Fairyland. This magical multicultural event brings families together to share in the season’s festivities. It’s the same Winterland you know and love, with a few additional measures to help keep everyone safe.
Yes, we’re still decking the Fairyland halls with thousands of twinkly lights and culturally-diverse holiday displays.
Yes, Black Santa will be there. At 6:45 p.m. each evening, he’ll lead families through the physically-distanced Festival of Lights Parade and, at the end, he’ll give out a treat to all the kids. Children will also get to see him in the park (though sitting on his lap is a no-go this year). While you’re here, drop your child’s “Letter to Santa” in the mailbox at the Chapel of Peace. We’ll make sure he gets it.
And, yes, you’ll be able to cozy up with a complimentary cup of hot cocoa.
To keep crowds low, we are limiting capacity and expect to sell out. Don’t miss out – reserve your tickets now!

As always, adults are only allowed through Fairyland's Fairy Gates with a child, and kids are only allowed in with a grownup. Our founders wanted to make Fairyland a safe place for the children in our community to play and learn. Some 70 years later, we believe this rule is more important than ever!

Assumption of risk: While we have made Fairyland safer, COVID-19 is extremely contagious and can cause severe illness and death, and exposure to it is an inherent risk in a public place where people are present. So, by visiting Children’s Fairyland you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
